The first Android phone was released in 2008. I was excited about the perception of openness to the platform and the opportunity to create apps that I could run on my phone, so I was among the first batch of pre-orders for the G1 Android phone.
After my Android phone arrived, I quickly discovered that the market didn’t have an app that combined podcasts and the device’s music library. I wanted my podcasts and my music in the same place, and I wanted to be able to stream them both. That just didn’t exist at the time. So I created the first streaming podcast and mp3 player on the Android market. I called it Infinimusic, and my wife made a bad ass logo for it.
